My treatment

Holistic Massage

Who can benefit from my treatments?

As I also practice Naturopathy, Nutritional Therapy and Homeopathy, my clients range from those with digestive, sleep, energy, hormonal and mood problems to those who simply wish to preserve their good health and prevent imbalances from developing. I also work with many triathletes, golfers and other sports people who are looking to optimise their performance at sporting events and to speed post-event recovery.

What inspires me?

I grew up with stories of my Great-Aunt who was a well known and respected Homeopath and GP in Glasgow. She saw so many positive influences of natural medicine that this was all she practised in the latter stages of her life. This fuelled my initial interest, and after graduating from my Psychology degree in Canada I decided to return to the UK to train as a Naturopath (i.e. a practitioner of natural medicine with more than one area of speciality, as well as training in Chinese diagnostics and naturopathic detox methods). I have now spent almost 12 years training, practising and teaching in various areas of natural medicine where I have had many opportunities to witness the innate healing powers that our bodies possess.

The most interesting part of my teaching and practice involves helping people to recover from stress-related disorders. It’s incredible how effective massage and nutritional therapy can be in treating the associated ailments such as difficulty sleeping, muscle tension and headaches, high blood pressure, depression and anxiety, hormonal imbalances and particularly IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). As a fitness enthusiast I also really enjoy working with those who have specific fitness goals in mind.

How I like to relax

I’m a classically trained pianist, and enjoy listening to others express themselves musically. I also enjoy yoga and other more active forms of relaxation.

My other interests

Travelling, dancing and meeting lovely new people. I also practice Naturopathy, Nutritional Therapy and Homeopathy.
