My treatments

Holistic Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, Thai Yoga Massage

Who can benefit from my treatments?

I am a
Holistic therapist, which means that I treat clients as individuals and tailor
the treatment to meet their specific needs. I specialise in several different
treatments including deep tissue massage, sports massage, Thai Yoga massage,
Indian head massage and Reflexology.

My regular
clients are both male and female and are of all different ages. I offer deep
tissue massage and a more soothing relaxing pressure. During a session I often
use techniques from several different treatments to ensure that your individual
needs are met.

I often
treat sports injuries and back pain with sports massage and Thai yoga massage
and desk bound clients with repetitive strain injury often ask for deep tissue
or remedial massage to focus specifically on releasing the area that is
overstrained.

Clients
suffering from stress and exhaustion often request a soothing and relaxing
massage such as Hot Stone Therapy or Indian head massage.

Reflexology is also very popular with
clients suffering from anxiety and many women who are overdue in their
pregnancies who require some natural, non-invasive help.

What inspires me?

I started my career as a complementary therapist nearly 10 years ago after making the decision to change careers and focus on something that I really loved. I decided to become a massage therapist and Reflexologist as they were both treatments that I regularly enjoyed receiving and I knew how beneficial they were on a physical and emotional level. Over the last 10 years I have continued to train in several different complementary disciplines and never tire of discovering new techniques to release stress and bring relaxation back to the body.

How I like to relax

I love to receive massage! I think it is very important to receive massage as a therapist in order to remember just how wonderful it feels and to keep body and mind relaxed and in good health. I also love stretching and regularly attend Pilates classes which helps me unwind physically and emotionally. Swimming in the sea and lots of walking in the countryside are also great ways for me to relax.

My other interests

I am a massage trainer and have provided massage workshops and courses for many private and voluntary organisations including Bristol City Council, St Mary Redcliffe school and Toni and Guy hairdressers. At the moment I am in the process of setting up a 10 week certificated Indian Head massage course.

I am also
interested in diet and nutrition and natural health remedies.
